Visser Recycling Techniek BV
Together with my father and brother, I co-founded Visser Recycling Techniek BV. After that, I gained valuable experience at:
- Metallo Chimique International NV
- Van Balkom Non-Ferro Scheiding BV
🚀 Launch of Levimet vof (1994)
In late 1994, I founded Levimet vof, building on existing business relationships. I traded non-ferrous metals on a commission basis.
🌍 International Expansion (1995–1998)
Robinson Group LTD – Newcastle upon Tyne
Starting in May 1995, I worked as a consultant and buyer:
- Purchasing non-ferrous residues from car shredding companies across Europe
- From 1997, also buying wrought and cast aluminium
➡️ In 1998, Robinson Group LTD was acquired by Mayer Parry, which later became part of EMR
🧠 Specialisation & Leadership (1998)
Huron Valley Europe NV
In May 1998, I joined the management team.
After the departure of the commercial director, I was asked to lead the commercial department.
🤝 Collaborations & Consulting (2003–2006)
Malco France → GDE NF (from 2006)
- Assisted in selling shredded products to the Far East for hand sorting
- Provided consulting on EVOA procedures and cross-border waste movements
- Developed solutions in cooperation with authorities
📈 Growth & Diversification (2005–2007)
- Large-scale purchasing within Europe
- Export to the Far East
- Reduced dependency on a single client
🏢 Company Structure
In June 2007, Levimet vof was restructured into separate operating companies. A third company was added in 2010:
